Noise Break-in Assessments
Often the planning authorities will require that a developer demonstrate the noise levels within a proposed development will meet identified acceptable noise levels.
Dragonfly Acoustics can assess the internal noise levels within the building taking account of the sound insulation provided by the proposed building envelope. We can advise on the best and most suitable glazing and ventilation for a development to minimise costs and achieve a high quality internal environment within the development.
Typically the glazing and ventilation are assessed against the design criteria as detailed in BS8233:1999. We are also able to advise clients and assist in the design of the best specification for them.
