Entertainment and Leisure Noise

Nightclubs, pubs, bars, bowling alleys and similar leisure facilities all have very specific noise problems associated with them.
The issues associated with these entertainment and leisure venues range from noise nuisance associated with loud music, patrons in beer gardens and external smoking areas; to workplace noise issues for staff working in a persistently loud nightclub environment.
Dragonfly Acoustics has significant experience dealing with all of these noise issues, indeed we are one of the most experienced consultancies in the field when dealing with planning applications and other noise issues associated with the Smoke-Free Regulations 2006.
Involving Dragonfly Acoustics at an early stage could save you time, money and inconvenience further down the line if you are planning to open a new entertainment venue.
We have significant experience working with local authorities, in the Yorkshire area in particular, helping us to deal with noise issues from licensed premises and resolve them before they become a noise problem.
Entertainment venues including pubs, clubs, hotels, bars and restaurants, are now covered by the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005. For further information about the assessment of noise at work for these venues please see our Control of Noise at Work pages.
